HYME
AND TRUFFLES INC., located in Toronto, Ontario, is a food processing
company specializing in the production of high quality oven ready hors d'oeuvres,
appetizers, cold canapés, vegetarian main dishes and innovative specialty
food items. The company began operations in 1987 in a tiny storefront space
and is now expanding its third location to a 20,000 sq.ft. plant operating
under an established HACCP plan. As a recognized leader in the specialty
food sector Thyme and Truffles has received several awards for its innovative
hors d'oeuvres line.
Products
are bulk packaged for the foodservice market and are available in selected
areas directly from Thyme and Truffles, and in most major Canadian and
US cities through area distributors. A variety of items are specially
packaged for the retail market to be sold in both supermarkets and specialty
food stores. Thyme and Truffles is also well established in the private
label market producing several retail hors d'oeuvres boxes for supermarket
chains, private branded products for foodservice distributors and customized
products for restaurant chains.
THYME AND TRUFFLES is a privately owned Canadian company. Primary shareholder and founder, Rhonda Richer, is the president and is actively involved in the company's operation. Ms. Richer is joined in Management by husband Timothy Lipa, who oversees the company's sales efforts.
