Cooking Instructions
For all Food Service products above

It's as easy as 1...2...3!

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF (350ºF - 375ºF convection ovens.)
  2. Place frozen hors d'oeuvres on cookie sheet. Parchment paper or non-stick tray will aid in easy removal.
  3. Bake approx. 10-20 minutes depending on oven and type of hors d'oeuvres. Remove when pastry is lightly golden brown.

  Thyme and Truffles Vegetarian Main Dishes were developed to help banquet kitchens and caterers cope with the rising need for vegetarian meal replacements. Our entrees are designed to be nutritionally sound, attractive to the eye, delectable to the palate and easy to prepare. Simply eliminate from the plate the meat or the poultry portion and replace with a freshly baked or steamed Thyme and Truffles vegetarian portion.

SPINACH AND CHEESE ROTOLLO

Spinach blended with feta and ricotta cheese, flavoured with herbs and spices and rolled in a pasta circle.
Portion:
220 grams
Preparation: Steam in a perforated hotel pan approximately 10-15 minutes until heated through.

RATATOUILLE IN SEVEN GRAIN PASTRY

Diced eggplant, zucchini, red and green peppers in a tangy tomato, garlic herb and spice blend, enveloped in a hearty seven-grain pastry.
Portion:
180 grams
Preparation: Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC), bake on non-stick tray for 30-35 minutes until pastry is golden brown.

SPICED MIDDLE EASTERN PINWHEELS

Chickpeas flavoured with a bouquet of Middle Eastern herbs and spices, circled with roasted pimento peppers and encased in a flaxseed pastry.
Portion:
180 grams
Preparation: Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC), bake on non-stick cookie tray 30-35 minutes until pastry is golden brown.

WILD RICE AND VEGETABLE WRAP

A soft-shell tomato wrap filled with rice, sweet potato, rice noodles, brown rice and celery and flavoured with oyster sauce, herbs and spices.
Portion:
220 grams
Preparation: Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC), bake on cookie tray approximately 30 minutes until heated through. For best results, cover product with tin foil prior to baking.

NOTE: Preparation times are based on cooking items from a frozen state. If product is thawed prior to cooking, reduce time by half. Store all products in freezer prior to use.
